My Tracks is a small and powerful application to keep track of your route while you travel around. The quite complex functionality hides behind a very clear user interface which is easy to understand.

Strengths

  • Very detailed  statistics of runs: Speed, Vertical, Distance, Calories, Time (but it downloads from WEB and use an additional Trace device)
  • Air, Rest, Lift time, Jump Height and Distance statistics ( use an additional device )

  • Does not work without internet connection
  • No live statistics
  • No saving tracks in different format
  • UI is very lagging (all works very slowly because all data downloads from WEB)

Summary

There are many ski track applications on the market today. It allows users to choose the right app that provides the most valuable information for themselves.

One of the most important features for such applications is the ability to work in the offline mode, since not always there is a high quality mobile Internet connection in mountains. Also ski track apps actively use GPS, discharging a battery of a mobile device very fast,  so it’s recommended to consider battery consumption.
